Speaking Test Muet






Test Procedure
Each group of four candidates is assessed by two examiners.
Candidates do not get to choose their group members.

Task A-Individual Presentation

-Candidates enter the examination room together.
-Each candidate is given a question paper and writing paper for jotting notes.
-Candidates are given two minutes to read the situation given and prepare for Task A by making notes.
-When the two minutes are up, Candidates A starts giving his views on the situation and topic given. The rest of the candidates listen to Candidate A and take down notes for the group interaction in Task B.
-After two minutes, Candidate A will be told to stop talking and Candidates B will start giving his response.
-Candidates C and D will each be given two minutes to speak.
-Task A ends.

Task B- Group Interaction

-Candidates are again given two minutes to prepare for the group interaction. They read the task, which will be given on the same question paper, and jot down notes.
-When two minutes are up, the candidates will be told to start their discussion.
-Any one of the candidates can begin the discussion.
